Security Shield + Removal Guide

I have a look at the new Security Tool clone; Security Shield. Removal Instructions: 0. In Security Shield, click the register link, and paste the following code (thanks to S!Ri): 64C665BE-4DE7-423B-A6B6-BC0172B25DF2 1. Close Security Shield (note: If you already have MBAM installed, skip to step 4) 2. Download the MBAM installer from here: www.bleepingcomputer.com 3. Run the installer. Be sure to leave “Update” and “Launch” checked 4. In MBAM, go to the Update tab and check for updates 5. Run a Quick Scan. If this does not completely remove Security Shield, a full scan may be necessary 6. After the scan completes, remove all files found by MBAM 7. Reboot If this guide helped you remove Security Shield, I appreciate donations: malwareup.org malwareup.org

hi everybody, I managed to deactivate ssecurity shield so that fake virus warnings do not pop up any more. However it is still in the “Programms” and by clicking on it I can activate it.
Can any1 tell me if deactivated security shield is harmful too? Do I have to remove it?

Thank you so much. I got rid of the virus. There is only one problem. After I did all of this, my internet isn’t connected. Right now I’m on my dad’s computer. We’re both hooked up to the same internet connection, and it’s either internet works on both or it doesn’t work on both, but never one works while the other doesn’t. This is very puzzling. Why doesn’t my internet work, but his does? Could it have to do with the removal programs, or is it a coincidence? Any advice or help from anyone!!

@DanielChristy19, Now i saw it never was removed. It didn’t came up after that, but it was ANOTHER virus it found. I removed the .exe.

  19. DanielChristy19 says:

I had it today. I immidenatly go to the Save mode, deleted Avast (It kept asking me to buy), installed Microsoft Security Essentials, and fucked it up. This rogue is really annoying since it blocks regedit and taskmanager. And it says CMD.exe is infected.

Excellent solution! Use the license key # from the video, “register” the security shield scum software, download and run malwarebytes and Voila! – you’re done. Really easy and elegant solution. Kudos to Rogueamp….my hat is off to you sir!

  24. SteadmanRoqks says:

YOU ARE A GOD. Thank you so much, I was on the verge of tears, and at first this video didn’t help me…at all, until I realized I had to take the license key from the video and use it, which was difficult because Security Shield wouldn’t let me screen shot anything -__- but eventually I got it and my malware scan is going on right now. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. This taught me such a valuable lesson, I will be reading everything that pops up from now on…
