Hi guys I was wondering what antivirus to buy after my norton 360 v4.0 expires.
    1) Renew it
    2)Purchase KIS 2010
    3)Purchase PC Tools Internet Security
4)PC Tools Spyware Doctor with Anti virus
    5)PC Tools Spyware Doctor

Also I don’t want eset, avast or AVG

please also tell me your views on norton and Kaspersky and which you think is better and why. Thanx

well vipre can beat kaspersky they even compared them officially and vipre had better results than kaspersky but they had somee ties in comparing (at least

  16. ballader1 says:

PC tools didn’t beat Kaspersky at all, because Matt settted the configuration for the adware wrong. It setted to detect only the adware files not the adware IE Plugins.

  19. mbformanski1 says:

Everyone on this comment board who runs kaspersky are smart. I have a copy of their network agent sofware that does something that no other security company does. It sweeps up viruses from your internet protocol to the kaspersky server and allows them to analyze viruses that they haven’t made a cure for. I used it about 3 years ago when my space was full of BUGS bunnies. I hooked up my networkdrive and tested other software with features that they didn’t have yet. If yall need it…I have it

  20. xXCrimson650Xx says:

its a trojan, i have had the same problem

  21. matimaster says:

Yeah… Kav isn’t really ment to be used for internet usage its more of a offline on the install or on the trigger antivirus… if you want real good internet protection use, Kaspersky Internet Security.

  22. laserxxxx says:

Neither will Eset Nod32 4 or Eset Smart Security(who is a better all-in-one security package).

  23. thecoconut12 says:

hey Matt, thx for the review!KAV did a great job, even that let few adware in the virtual PC you can`t blame it :)
no AV is perfect and with soooo many malware pieces in that computer…
