all you did was turn on show hidden and system files. and autorun.inf is not a virus. if it was 99% of all cd/dvd for PC would be infected. also removing files that “look strange” will often resault in a system file loss.

The point of Antivirus is to prevent infections so you don’t have to remove them manually or at all for that matter.
And manually removing a virus is allot more of a pain than you’re describing, you forgot to manually delete the thousands of registry keys and startup items and services.

Hi, I’m a user, just like you are, and I’m pretty tired of always been removing the same files and folders from every USB drive I plug in my PC. So, I created a batch program to do this job for me with some key presses. If you want to give it a try, here is the download link:

It comes in English and Spanish and it’s kind of a setup wizard, but the file that will really clean your USB device will be extracted and its name is: MINI-ANTIVIRUS.BAT. That’s the file that you will have to run to clean your USB devices.
Removed AAA program:
Control Panel=> Java => Temporary Internet Files area, click View,
“aaa” will be listed there. Highlight and delete.
