@protokol2 everyone has their opinion. AVG is better than not having anything at all. What antivirus would you suggest since you apparently are the expert here?

@Virtuenow I don’t use the AVG toolbar but you can if you want. It helps detect bad sites.
By careful I mean I don’t go to sites unless I know what is on them and what I am going to. The only other thing i have besides AVG is malwarebytes anitmalware which I run once a week.

@BaltoMovie You need to try to use Malwarebytes AntiMalware for the type of infection you have. Download from a friends computer and use a CD or USB stick to run it
