    i was hit by antispyware soft and it disconnected the internet explorer, msn and other stuff but not firefox

    um my computer it says its internet is connected and has internet acces but i try to use the internet it says its not connected

    Easy stuff, resetting the default setting for internet explorer fixed my connection.
    Whatever the last virus did, it effected MSN IM and Google earth as well.
    Mozilla Firefox was never touched by the virus.

    Yes its clean.. Even Used 2 programs servral times to make sure… even went trough a hole guide on internet to remove it… Also i cant use anything on the computer…. I get spammed with ” Internet explorer stoped working ” pop ups.. wich meens that if i go on an game.. the game will tab down everytime i get spammed with that.. i even tried Uninstalling Internet explorer. Windows reinstalled it BUT same thing again… even tried IE Repair programs :/

    It did not work for me .. I had Malware and removed it… Done everything u showed me but Internet explorer and Firefox keeps krashing. i can start it for a few seconds then it crashed. also if i try download anything it crashes :/

    Yeah its always a good idea to turn off System Restore then turn it back on again and make a fresh restore point, because malware, trojans and virus will be in restore points.
