@Lonee2511 – AVG is still heavy on resources and malware changes so removal methods have to change too :-)

  5. Lonee2511 says:

I had summat similar to this and it said I had 1294 Trojans found and it wouldn’t go away but I just got avg and it had no viruses at all

  6. cotojo1253 says:

@clintonearlwalker – Different programs work in different ways and a layered method works very well such as the one you have. For most user CCleaner will remove any tracking cookies or use the Better Privacy add-on for Firefox :-)

  7. cotojo1253 says:

@BoiseState3 – Most users hate them, for the criminals they are a money making machine and it is finding the right removal tools at no cost to users to remove the crap that is installed :-)

  8. cotojo1253 says:

@clintonearlwalker – There are many programs that are freely available to remove malware and others to prevent infection, although it is also fair to say tht their is no 100% solution. CCleaner will remove a lot of unwanted junk including cookies, and Spybot is worth updating although not the greatest program, it still updates and block many malicious sites and the Web of Trust add-on is very useful too :-)

  9. BoiseState3 says:

    I hate those mother fuckers!!!

  10. cotojo1253 says:

@clintonearlwalker – SpyBot still has its uses, more for creating a half decent Hosts file and blocking ActiveX. TDSSKiller is a useful tool to keep handy and there is also Superantispyware portable which will run on infected machines that won’t allow security apps to run :-)

  11. clintonearlwalker says:

@cotojo1253 Thanx for the info, I will definitely check it out. I’m very wary of any program simply cuz there is so much crap out there. I will check out TDSSKiller though, I think I’ve heard other people recommend it, and I like any good security program especially if it is free. Spybot was good when I installed it, I don’t think it is any good at all now though.

  12. cotojo1253 says:

@clintonearlwalker – Malwarebytes is first choice for me for removing malware, also bear in mind that some rogue applications also download a rootkit. If there is any strange behavior check out TDSSKiller which removes them for free :-)

  13. clintonearlwalker says:

I’ve had 2 hi-jakcers, Anitvirus Soft, and XP Internet Security 2010. I ditched the first with system restore. I got the second one after I had Norton installed, I found out later that Norton disables system restore with my version of XP. I took my puter to the shop but it was closed. I came back home, ran a full scan of the free MBAM, and it got it. Saved me a bunch of money, I can’t recommend Malwarebytes enough.

  14. cotojo1253 says:

@Sodajock13 – Use Malwarebytes free version, install, update and perform Quick Scan. Remove all infections found and reboot. If problem still exists go to the A-Z Index on my site and click on Google Redirect and download TDSSKiller :-)

  15. Sodajock13 says:

I think I got it today I freaked out and like an idiot click ok but I didn’t buy it but now the virus won’t leave me alone

  16. cotojo1253 says:

@iLuvMyPom2014 – There are a few that can make many changes to the system. Antivirus I would use Avast 5 or Avira, Malwarebytes to remove malware, and SmitFraudFix to remove the trojans. All are free and listed in the index on my site with tutorials :-)

  17. iLuvMyPom2014 says:

Have you seen/heard about a virus that controlls your computer? Well, one day i was taking my dog a bath and the computer was on (in the web too) and when I got back it had popped up porn sites and a website called viagra? idk, but is that normal for the computer doing that?! Do you think it’s the virus? Plz help! & which anti-virus program would you recommend for Windows XP?? Thanks :)

  18. cotojo1253 says:

@ puertasdecielo – The names are ever changing, now it is antimalware2010, antivirus 7, soft security and so it goes on. In many cases ending the process and using free malware removal apps will remove the infections. In some cases a few other methods need to be used as they become more aggressive :-)

  19. cotojo1253 says:

@ayaanda1 – Works in most cases hope that it works for you too, if not get back to me :-)

  20. ayaanda1 says:

I’m scanning as we speak…I think this will finally work.
Thank you so much for posting!!!!!!

  21. cotojo1253 says:

@Christdiedforyou3 – They are constantly changing, but in most cases removal can be relatively simple with the right tools. The wrong tools can cause greater problems :-)

  22. cotojo1253 says:

@xXxArcAngelAnetxXx – MBAM is first choice for malware removal and works in most cases. Pleased to know that it worked for you :-)

  23. Christdiedforyou3 says:

LOL my dad got this virus in his computer and it destroyed his pc so he had to get another PC lol this is one of the most harmful viruses out there good luck if anyone gets this virus

  24. xXxArcAngelAnetxXx says:

I love malwarebytes! I was able to fix my computer because of it! :)

  25. cotojo1253 says:

@staranimeforever5 – you’re welcome. Avast 5 is much smoother and has more features than earlier versions and better protection than many paid AV’s :-)
